Awaken your understanding of arcane aromas, walk through the potent portal of precious perfumes. From the ancient Egyptian god of perfumers to stories of goddesses wielding otherworldly scents as magic and how you can do the same, we’ll cover it all in Smells as Spells!! This 1 hour course will summarize the use of scent in ritual throughout history as well as in mythology. We will also discuss how we use the power of fragrance today & some simple ways to implement this magic into your personal practice.

What you’ll need for class:

-Paper & pencil for extra note taking

-A few of your favorite fragranced items

*Think perfume, incense, oils, candles etc. You don’t have to have the actual item on hand during class as long as you’re able to refer to some of the fragrance notes. We’ll be using them for an in class activity!!
