The Sabbat Mabon

As the wheel turns toward the autumn equinox, Mabon invites us into balance, reflection, and release. This is the second harvest—a time when day and night meet as equals, and we are called to honor both what we’ve gathered and what we’re ready to let go.

In this 60-minute webinar, we’ll explore the history, folklore, and modern meaning of Mabon. We’ll trace its roots through myth and agricultural tradition, touching on the equinox's role in ancient calendars, the lore of balance and justice, and deities often honored at this time—such as Mabon ap Modron, Persephone, and the spirit of the waning sun.

We’ll discuss ways to celebrate the season with rituals, altar ideas, and seasonal symbolism—including offerings of fruit and wine, gratitude practices, and reflections on what it means to live in alignment with the natural cycles of light and dark. Together, we’ll consider how to embrace the quieter energy of early autumn while honoring all that this turning point represents.

Participants will receive a digital workbook filled with reflections, practical rituals, altar inspiration, and mythic context to support personal practice throughout the Mabon season.
