Remembrance Magic

Taught by Courtney Block, @liminallibrarian

A name recorded, a place remembered, a story brought back into view—research can give remembrance a tangible form. In this class, Courtney explores remembrance as a magickal act and how seeking information can deepen the ways we honor people, places, and events.

Together, we’ll explore research as a practice of remembrance. Courtney will demonstrate how to access multiple databases and find information about those you’re honoring, helping you bring historical details and recovered stories into your own remembrance magick.

Includes:

• A 60-minute class recording

You’ll leave with:

• An understanding of remembrance as a magickal act

• Guidance for accessing multiple research databases

• Ways to find information about the people, places, and events you’re honoring

Bring a pen, something to take notes in, and a person, place, or event you’d like to research.
