Working with Venus

Taught by Kristin Lisenby, @eastandalchemy

An image, a sensation, an object that carries meaning—symbols offer ways to approach what can be difficult to put into words. In this class, Kristin explores symbols and correspondences through the archetype of Venus, goddess of desire, creation, and contradiction.

Together, we’ll turn to Venus’s myths and symbols to consider the relationships between love, beauty, and power. You’ll explore how symbolic meaning can inform your own creative practice, then take part in a guided writing ritual inspired by the energy of the Summer Solstice.

Includes:

• A 60-minute class recording

You’ll leave with:

• An understanding of symbols and correspondences as a language of spiritual meaning

• Insight into Venus’s archetype through her myths and symbols

• A guided creative writing ritual inspired by the Summer Solstice

Bring a pen and something to write in for the guided creative ritual.
